Archie Thomason
Senior Associate
Archie is a Senior Associate at Viresco’s Queensland Farmland Fund, supporting the execution of sustainable beef investment strategies across acquisition, asset management and value-creation initiatives. A co-founder of Viresco Group, he brings experience researching and delivering agrifood and climate-tech investments, advising portfolio businesses, and helping to raise capital across the sector.
Previously, Archie worked at Milltrust International on climate and agrifood investments within the British Innovation Fund II, and at AgbioInvestor, where he focused on market intelligence for the crop breeding and crop protection industries. He holds a First-Class degree in Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh, with academic research centred on bovine-related zoonotic disease pathways. With family interests in the UK animal feed sector and hands-on exposure to UK dairy operations, Archie combines analytical rigour with practical insight into livestock production systems.
