Guy Pengelley is Head of Fund Operations for Viresco’s Queensland Farmland Fund, supporting the delivery of sustainable beef production through disciplined operational oversight and strong fund controls. A co-founder of Viresco Group, he brings hands-on portfolio management experience from Milltrust Agricultural Investments and Future Planet Capital, having focused on their southern hemisphere farmland funds and the BIF Opportunities venture fund.

Guy began his career in corporate finance and accountancy, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) with Deloitte in their Transaction Services team, before joining Peel Hunt's investment banking division. He has supported governance and growth as a Non-Executive Director and Board Observer to early-stage companies. Guy holds a First-Class Geography degree from the University of Nottingham, with academic focus on climate change and environmental economics, and he maintains a long-standing connection to agriculture through his family’s multi-generation farming heritage in Kent.
