Hadyn Craig is Head of Investment Strategy for Viresco’s Queensland Farmland Fund, focused on sustainable beef production. A co-founder of Viresco Group, he has over 20 years’ experience across the global agri-food sector, spanning Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America and North America. Prior to Viresco, Hadyn was Portfolio Manager at Milltrust International, leading its agri-food venture capital investment thesis and supporting commercial real-asset strategy.

Previously, Hadyn was a Senior Consultant at AbacusBio, improving the economic performance of food businesses across the value chain by implementing innovation in production systems, management practices and animal breeding. He began his career in farm operations in New Zealand and later worked in asset optimisation at Silver Fern Farms. A New Zealand national, he relocated permanently to the UK in 2017 and has advised on projects across Australia, New Zealand, Paraguay, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, the United States and the United Kingdom. He holds an MSc (Distinction) in Genetics from the University of Otago and is a peer-reviewed author in genetics and production system innovation.
