Mr Maher is an experienced director with a strong leadership record in major listed corporations, including multinationals, across both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. He spent 13 years on the Macquarie Group Executive Committee, where he led the Banking and Financial Services Group to record growth. He has also held industry leadership roles, including extensive consultation with Government as Chairman of the Financial Services Council of Australia. During his time at Macquarie, Peter oversaw the establishment of the group’s successful agricultural funds management strategy.
